PDF to PowerPoint (PPTX) Converter

Only have the PDF of a deck, or want to present a report page by page? Convert each page into a slide that looks exactly like the original, with the page's text in the speaker notes. Download a .pptx that opens in PowerPoint, Google Slides or Keynote.

Tips

  • Only need a few pages? Pull them out with the PDF Splitter first.
  • Large documents: “Standard” quality keeps the file small enough to email. Use “High” for projecting fine print on big screens.
  • Want individual images instead of a deck? Use PDF to Image.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I edit the text on the slides?

Each slide holds a high-resolution picture of the PDF page, so it looks exactly like the original but the text on it isn't editable. You can add text boxes, arrows and highlights on top, rearrange or delete slides, and the page text is copied into the speaker notes for you to reuse.

Why not editable text boxes?

A PDF stores text as positioned fragments, not as slides with text boxes. Rebuilding them reliably often scrambles fonts and spacing. A picture of each page keeps the design intact, and that's usually what you want when presenting a report, a design or a scanned handout.

What slide size does it use?

The slide size matches the first page of your PDF: an A4 document gives A4-shaped slides, and a 16:9 PDF export gives widescreen slides. Pages with a different shape are centred on the slide.

Does it work in Google Slides and Keynote?

Yes. The file is a standard .pptx. Upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Slides, or open it directly in Keynote.

Is the PDF uploaded?

No. Pages are rendered and the presentation is built in your browser.
